WordPress 3.2 is out!

Gershwin, the latest version of WordPress is now available for download. It features some nice improvements in the admin interface, making it look much more polished and and is altogether faster and lighter than previous versions.

It does drop support for older versions of php and mysql and the new basic requirements are PHP 5.2.4 and MySQL 5.0. Check with your webhost to find out what version they are using.mChances are, they have already upgraded.

WordPress 3.2 also d finally drops support for every webdesigner’s old nemesis: Internet Explorer 6. Good Riddance I say.

WordPress 3.2 features a new default theme, called twentyeleven. It looks great right out of the box, has a streamlined clean and modern look and displays well on mobile applications and the iPad.
