Visual Terrain
Visual Terrain is a lighting design company in Los Angeles specializing in lighting and production for movies, studios and architecture. The company has a very extensive portfolio of work that they needed to be able to show in a easily accessible manner.
They also wanted to show their three markets to the best advantage and highlight the different specialties of their principle designers.
The organization of the huge portfolio was of utmost importance and the WordPress categories came in very handy here. We decided on a homepage that serves as a gateway introducing the most important sections of the site. The portfolio is organized in many different categories that are easily accessed by a dropdown navigation.
The top shows an animated selection of their work in a slider, linking to pages with the actual projects. The homepage also contains liks to the bios of the designers, latest news snippets and an introduction to their main services.
